Job Description:
As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities are detailed below:
- Expert-level skills in Power BI (DAX, M-Code) and SQL programming as well as capable of doing requirements gathering and working independently. Power BI Report development.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models and Optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, ensuring they load quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate seamlessly with data analysts and business stakeholders to grasp intricate data requirements, translate complex business needs into impactful visualizations, and deliver actionable insights.
- Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
- Build and sustain data models, relationships, measures, and calculations within Power BI, facilitating efficient data analysis.
- Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
- Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
- Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
- Document data models, calculations, and report development processes for future reference and team collaboration.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Candidate with Excellent English writing skills with good vocabulary.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience with data visualization best practices.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
